Just in case you are not interested England beat France today in Sydney to set up a mouth watering clash with defending champions Australia next week. It is a repeat of the final 12 years ago (won by Australia) and possibly the best chance so far in Rugby WC history of a Northern Hemisphere side returning with the William Webb Ellis trophy.
To paraphrase Bill Shankley, "...it isn't a matter of life or death... its far more important than that!"
(The above, for the record, is said purely tongue in cheek but for the avoidance of doubt - Come on ENGLAND! Swing low sweet chariot...)
Normal service will be resumed next posting.
